Privacy Policy

ZenApp LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates jinnicraft.com (the “Service”) — platform that sells handicraft products personalized by AI, based on your ideas and handmade by real artisans. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What We Collect

Account information. When you register, we store your name, email address, and a password (hashed — we never see the plain text). You can also sign in with Google, in which case Google shares the profile information you consent to.

Order information. When you place an order, we record the recipient’s shipping address, the product details, any customization (including reference photos and design notes you provide to the artisan), and the transaction record. We need this to make and deliver your piece.

Photos and designs. If you customize a piece, the images and prompts you upload are stored so the artisan can craft your order and so you can re-order or revise a design.

Usage data. We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how the site is used — page views, clicks, and session recordings. This is tied to an anonymous identifier; we use it to improve the product, not to sell to anyone.

Device and location data. We infer your country from your IP address to show the right currency and to comply with regional rules. We do not store your precise location.

How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders.
To let you communicate your customization to the artisan making your piece.
To send you order updates and, where you’ve opted in, marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
To detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
To operate and improve the Service.

With artisans (vendors). When you order from an artisan, we share the information they need to make and ship your piece: the product, your customization and reference photos, and the shipping address. Artisans are independent businesses and are responsible for how they handle your data under their own policies.

With service providers. We use trusted third parties to run the Service:

Stripe — payment processing. Card data goes directly to Stripe; we never store it.
Cloudflare — hosting, performance, and security.
PostHog (EU) — product analytics.
Google — sign-in, when you choose it.
Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery.
AI tools — we use third-party AI providers to generate the design previews you see. Your uploaded photos and prompts are sent to them for this purpose.

These providers process data on our behalf under contract and have their own privacy policies.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or to respond to a valid legal request.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (keeping you signed in, remembering your cart and currency) and, with your consent, for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your account and associated data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Export your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email hello@jinnicraft.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. You can also manage much of your data directly from your account settings.

Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Order records are retained for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legal, tax, and accounting requirements (typically several years). Reference photos and saved designs are kept until you delete them or close your account.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

International Transfers

JinniCraft and its providers operate across borders. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the Service or by email.
